NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2011)

Why vote for him?

Derrick Favors was a Jazz man through and through with him and Stifle Tower protecting the paint, the Jazz were the most elite defensive team in the NBA. While offensive numbers struggled with one on the court, the Jazz benefited off of making D-Faves the backup center so that both big guys wouldn’t clog the lane on offense. He was almost more positive of a defensive player than Rudy statistically speaking.

Vote for Derrick Favors if you’re a fan of someone who was loyal to the Jazz until both sides determined it was time to part ways. He was the best player on the team when the Jazz were rebuilding and a vital role player on good playoff teams.
