CEDAR CITY, Utah — Southern Utah Gymnastics is back at the America First Event Center. Though the Flippin’ Birds have already taken the floor once this season, they will do so at the AFEC for the first time this season. Students are also back in town and will have a great opportunity to see a nationally recognized program take center stage after a long first day of classes.

Last Time Out

The Thunderbirds traveled to Las Vegas for the Super 16 meeting. SUU finished in first place at this meet with a score of 195.800. They started with bars and that would be the Flippin’ Bird’s best event of the night scoring 49.050. The Beam would show to be the weak spot of an impressive showcase with SUU coming in at 48.850. A score of 49.950 would come from the Floor and Vault events. As for the New Hampshire Wildcats, this will be their first meet of the season.
