The Springville Red Devils had won five consecutive state titles and seemed poised to win a sixth after winning their divisional meet this season. On October 24, 2023, the team’s win streak came to an end. They still finished a respectable third place in a competitive 5A field.
Maya Boyer, young frontrunner of the Lady Red Devils, has prepared for this moment to be an All-State caliber runner. She finished tenth in a competitive 5A field.
