Head coach: Stephanie Mark

The Roy Royals head into the 2025 season with enthusiasm and a focus on bringing home a season that will improve upon their five wins from last year. Izzy Cline emerges as a pivotal player for the Royals. This junior, honored as a Standard-Examiner All-Area Honorable Mention, blends exceptional skill with determination. In a standout game against the Clearfield Falcons, Cline electrified fans with two doubles and three runs batted in. The Royals won three of their last five regular-season games, showing improvement and growth for Head Coach Stephanie Mark. Coach Mark has an experienced player at first base and in the circle in Cline.

The Royals will look to veteran players senior Quincy Johnson and junior Lorelai Sherrod to team with Cline to lead the Royals. Johnson is a critical asset for the Royals as they gear up for the season. As a senior outfielder, her speed and range allow her to cover the field and execute game-changing catches. Johnson’s experience will steer the team alongside Cline and other standout players.

Sherrod is a dependable and steady catcher who adds pop as a batter for the Royals. In the Clearfield game, Sherrod batted 2-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in. The Royals will welcome new talent to the team this year, and with the veterans, are primed for a turnaround season.
