2025 Record: Overall (23-8) Region (10-0)
Head Coach: Todd Street – 7th year
The Davis Darts enter the 2026 campaign with momentum and confidence after claiming consecutive Region 1 titles. Last spring, Davis dominated the competition with a flawless 10-0 region record, proving itself to be one of the premier programs in Northern Utah. With a large group of veterans returning, the Darts are poised to chase another championship and extend their reign atop the region.
Guiding the Darts is Head Coach Todd Street, now entering his 8th season. Street’s leadership has been instrumental in building Davis into a perennial contender, blending veteran stability with emerging talent to keep the program thriving.
“We are super excited about the upcoming season,” Coach Street said. “The girls have worked hard, and we hope to have an amazing season. That being said, we know we will have to earn everything we get; no one will give us anything. Everyone will be shooting for us. We just need to stay in the moment and make the plays we need to be successful.”

Serena Roth
Roth returns to the circle
Senior pitcher Serena Roth headlines the returning cast. Roth has been the cornerstone of Davis softball, posting back-to-back 14-win seasons and earning Deseret News All-State First Team honors. She is also a career .360 hitter and, in the circle, has over 300 strikeouts entering the season. Her consistency, composure, and ability to control games from the circle make her one of the most feared arms in the region. Roth, who has committed to play at Salt Lake Community College, is determined to finish her high school career with another deep playoff run.
Korth anchors the infield
Alongside Roth, the Darts welcome back another star in Jewel Korth, the team’s dynamic shortstop. Korth, also an All-Region First Team selection, was named to the Deseret News All-State Second Team after another standout season. Korth has excelled in the field and has a bat that consistently delivers. She closed her junior year with 108 career hits. Like Roth, Korth has committed to Salt Lake Community College, giving Davis two college-bound leaders who embody the program’s excellence.

Riley Jaques
Senior leaders add depth
Senior leaders Chloe Peery, Adelyn Turpin, Riley Jaques, and Koryn Mafi add depth to the Darts’ championship pedigree. Peery emerged as a standout in the outfield, combining defensive reliability with improved offensive production, launching four home runs and ranking among the five Darts to score 30 or more runs. Turpin proved to be a steady force at second base, anchoring the infield defensively while batting an impressive .383 and providing consistent contributions in key moments.
Jaques delivered a breakout season behind the plate, tying for the region lead with nine home runs and cementing herself as one of the top catchers in the state. Her season turned special during a three-game non-region stretch against Herriman, Pleasant Grove, and Viewmont, where she went 9-for-12 with three home runs and eight runs batted in. Her outstanding season earned her Deseret News All-State Honorable Mention honors, highlighting her impact on both offense and defense.
Senior Koryn Mafi, a recent commit to Treasure Valley Community College, will be an impact player for the Darts, teaming with Jaques at catcher.
Emerging stars to watch
A power bat who finished second on the team and in the region with eight home runs as a freshman, Sunderland played great centerfield and is poised to be a top player in the state for the next few years. Cambell Christensen, a junior, provides a reliable arm that complements Roth in the circle, adding pitching depth.
Senior, Ella Nielson, an Odessa College commit, has become a steady presence at first base, emerging as a dependable defender and contributor. Hannah Garlock, a junior speedster, wreaked havoc on the basepaths last season, scoring 31 runs and stealing 22 bases as the team’s primary pinch runner.

Jewel Korth
The road ahead
With Roth and Korth leading the charge, a senior trio providing depth, and emerging stars ready to shine, Davis has the roster to chase a third straight Region 1 crown. Rivals will be eager to dethrone the reigning champions, but the Darts’ combination of experience, talent, and coaching stability makes them a formidable force. If the supporting cast continues to rise, Davis could not only secure another region title but also make noise in the state tournament.
Key losses to graduation
The Davis Darts will feel the absence of key players from last season’s roster. Notably, third baseman Hadlee Isaacs and Katie Klaumann. Klaumann now attends Mt. Hood Community College. Their leadership and skills on and off the field will be missed as the Darts look to reload and continue their championship pursuit.
