With the men’s college basketball season coming to a close, here’s what you need to know as you make your bracket for March Madness.

Meet the Teams

Every year, March Madness is filled with heavy front runners, Cinderella stories, and heart-breaking losses sending these student athletes home. Below are the teams that hope to finish the tournament with the championship trophy.

The matchups below will tip-off starting on Thursday, March 16 at 10:15 a.m. MT. These games will be broadcasted on CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV.

#9 West Virginia vs #8 Maryland @ 10:15 a.m. MT on CBS (3/16)

In the last four tournaments, the nine seed is 11-5 against the eighth seed. Maryland and West Virginia have played each other 38 times in their history and West Virginia is 24-14 against Maryland. West Virginia is currently on a three-game winning streak against Maryland with their last meeting being on March 22, 2015. Maryland’s last win against West Virginia was on December 7, 1991.
