The Utah Jazz (7-16) looks to celebrate 80’s night with a win against the New York Knicks (13-9).

What to Look For

New York is coming into the Delta Center winning four of their last six games with all four of their wins coming against teams that have below .500 records. This may have fans on their heels as New York has the best record against teams under .500 with a 10-0 record. Having a scoring barrage for New York in RJ Barrett, Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, Utah will have their have their hands full on the defensive end. This trio is averaging 66.2/16.9/13.6 per game while all three are shooting over 43 percent from the field. The only players on Utah’s roster to shoot that high without missing a game is Ochai Agbaji (45.8%) and Collin Sexton (44.7%). Not only will Utah need to be efficient from the field, but they will need to play suffocating defense to keep this one interesting.

Key of the Game

Rebounds. With New York being without their leading rebounder Mitchell Robinson, Utah will need to make the boards a point of emphasis if they want to take control of the game early. New York losing 10.3 rebounds per game should open the window of opportunity for guys like Taylor Hendricks, Kelly Olynyk and Omer Yurtseven to lockdown the paint.

Injury Report

New York – Immanuel Quickley (knee) Questionable, Mitchell Robinson (ankle) Out

Utah – Josh Christopher (G League) Out, Jordan Clarkson (hamstring) Out, John Collins (illness) Out, Johnny Juzang (G League) Out, Walker Kessler (foot) Probable, Lauri Markkanen (hamstring) Probable, Luka Samanic (illness) Out
