The Utah Jazz (24-24) takes on the New York Knicks (30-17) on the SEGABABA.

What to Look For

This game will be a battle of the frontcourt. Even with injuries, New York has found a diamond in the rough in Isaiah Hartenstein. When Hartenstein has started this season, he averages 7.4/11.0/2.4 while shooting 64.4 percent from the field. During New York’s current six game winning streak, Josh Hart has been vital to their success. Hart has been averaging 8.0/9.3/3.0 with shooting 54.8 percent from the field.

Utah will be looking to lean into John Collins and Lauri Markkanen for this matchup. During Utah’s current road trip, this frontcourt duo is averaging 37.2/17.8/3.4 with shooting splits of 52.1/33.3/82.6. Collins as of late has been struggling from the perimeter during this road trip as he has shot 1/13 (7.7%) during that stretch after shooting 37.3 percent for the season.

Key of the Game

Assist numbers. Utah is currently seventh in the league in assists (28.3) while New York is 29th in the league (24.1). Utah currently has four players averaging 4+ assists per game (Jordan Clarkson, Kris Dunn, Kelly Olynyk and Collin Sexton) while Jalen Brunson is the only active player over four assists per game with 6.8. As long as Clarkson can limit his turnovers, Utah should be in for a nailbiter.
