The Utah Jazz (12-11) looks to end their five-game losing streak against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers (13-9).

What to Look For

Utah will have another difficult night in the paint with Ivica Zubac. Being ranked fourth in the league in RPG (11.7) and sixth in blocks per game (1.8) and has 31 points and 29 rebounds two games ago, Zubac will be on Will Hardy’s radar. Hardy will need to rely on his frontcourt of Kelly Olynyk, Jarred Vanderbilt, Walker Kessler, and maybe Udoka Azubuike. Los Angeles will be working with a depleted roster while on the second night of a back-to-back. With players like Collin Sexton able to run every second he’s on the floor, this might be a strategy to wear out this Los Angeles team.

Key for the Game

Utah will need to execute from the free-throw line. In their previous game against the Chicago Bulls, where they lost 114-107, Utah shot an atrocious 6/15 (40%) from the line. Though both Los Angeles and Utah are ranked in the bottom 10 in the league in free throw percentage (Utah: 22, Los Angeles: 25), Utah has been shooting 78/100 (78%) over this five-game losing streak. Before Monday’s game against Chicago, Utah was shooting 72/85 (84.7%) from the line during this stretch.
