The Utah Jazz (28-29) continue their road trip against the New York Knicks (30-27) as they look for their first win streak since the trade deadline.
What to Look For
Utah seems to be looking for a somewhat new identity since the trade deadline, forcing players to take on new responsibilities in the blink of an eye. Though Utah is in this weird limbo, like the saying goes, “next man up” is now in effect. Collin Sexton taking a new leadership role with the departure of Mike Conley, Walker Kessler adjusting to a full-time starting role and Ochai Agbaji proving he deserves role minutes. With the recent acquisition of Juan Tuscano-Anderson and Damian Jones, this may light a fire for the bench to truly earn their minutes.
Key of the Game
Pressence in the paint. With Kessler coming off a career high in points on Friday with 23 points, Utah should look to attack the paint with the absence of Mitchell Robinson. This doesn’t mean the paint will be wide open. Jericho Sims has proven to be a problem for Utah earlier this season with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
