The Utah Jazz (31-35) travels to the east coast to take on the Orlando Magic (27-39) as Utah looks to sweep the season series.
What to Look For
Both teams are coming into this matchup with losing streaks. Orlando with two straight losses and Utah with a four-game losing streak. Orlando has a less-than-spectacular record at home at 15-18 but Utah has struggled to win on the road with a record of 11-22 this season. with that being said, Orlando has a 13-11 record against the West and Utah has a 10-13 record against the East. The guard positions will be something to watch for both teams with Orlando’s Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony combining for 25.7 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 9.6 APG, and 2.1 SPG this season. With Utah missing both Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton, they will be reliant on Talen Horton-Tucker and Ochai Agbaji then Kris Dunn off the bench. Those three players have combined for 35.7 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 10.3 APG, 3.3 SPG since Dunn was added to the roster on February 23.
Key of the Game
Force the attack on Paolo Banchero. In their last meeting, Orlando had 15 turnovers and Banchero was responsible for four of them. Utah struggled to not commit turnovers, as they have all season, with 24 in the game with Clarkson leading the team with seven. If the ball is forced into Banchero’s hands, this will force him to challenge Walker Kessler in the paint, who had seven blocks in their last meeting.
Orlando- Wendell Carter Jr.: Out (hip), Kevon Harris: Out (G League), Jonathan Isaac: Out (hamstring), Admiral Schofield: Probable (concussion)
Utah- Jordan Clarkson: Out (hand), Micah Potter: Out (G League), Collin Sexton: Out (hamstring)
