The Utah Jazz (15-14) comes home for a two-game homestand against the New Orleans Pelicans (18-8) hoping to avoid a three-game losing streak.
What to Look For
Utah is returning home to face New Orleans, who has won their last seven games and yet to lose in December. In hopes of having players coming back from injury, Utah will need to bring their “A Game” to compete. The last time these teams met, it required overtime to reach a conclusion. Utah had access to their entire roster, so this time around it will be interesting to see what coach Will Hardy will do to compensate for injuries.
Key of the Game
Utah will need to lean on Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson for ball movement to find a win in this game. New Orleans allows 25.4 assists per game while Utah earns 26.6 assists per game. Creating consistent ball movement won’t be enough since New Orleans is first in the league in point differential at +7 points per game.
Injury Report
New Orleans- Brandon Ingram: Out (toe), Herbert Jones: Probable (ankle), E.J. Liddell: Out (knee)
Utah- Simone Fontecchio: Out (ankle), Johnny Juzang: Out (wrist), Collin Sexton: Out (hamstring)
Where to Watch?
Tip-off between New Orleans and Utah will be at 7:00 p.m. MT on AT&T SportsNet.
