The Utah Jazz (19-17) travels to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors (17-18) in their second game of this road trip.
What to Look For
This will be the third matchup between these teams splitting the series 1-1 with their previous meeting coming down to the final bucket by Simone Fontecchio. Thankfully for Utah, they will not see Stephen Curry, who scored 33 points in his only meeting with Utah. That opens the door for Jordan Poole to have a big game after scoring 36 points in his previous meeting with the Jazz. Utah will have to battle the sixth man of Golden State, who has the best home record in the NBA at 14-2 this season. If Utah plans on going back to their winning ways, they will need to focus on the task at hand and not let the crowd steer them away from their goal.
Key for the Game
Kelly Olynyk. Utah has been 2-2 without their Swiss army knife in Olynyk. He will provide a multi-level threat for Golden State with his size and ability to be a danger from the perimeter. In their previous meeting, Olynyk scored 15 points along with three rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Injury Report
Golden State- Stephen Curry: Out (shoulder), Draymond Green: Probable (foot), JaMychal Green: Out (health and safety protocols), Andre Iguodala: Out (hip), Andrew Wiggins: Out (non-COVID illness)
Utah- Johnny Juzang: Out (G League), Micah Potter: Out (G League)
